Michelle Largent, MA, LMHC

I truly believe that this is our collective story of humanity. In this life we are walking each other home, and it’s an honor to be a part of that journey.

I offer traditional psychotherapy as well as eco-therapy in Skagit county in the North Cascades mountains. I am a depth centered trauma psychotherapist that specializes in healing from anxieties and abuse. My approach is informed by psychodynamic, somatic, and person-centered theories.

In addition, I am focused on the connection between our natural world and our inner psychic spaces. I am intrigued by, and love offering, the opportunity to enter the wilderness around us as we explore the wildness within.

Together we will explore your life and stories and create space to deepen your connection to your inner world, give meaning to past experiences, transform thinking patterns, calm and quiet the anxieties of your body and mind, and explore new styles of being and relating.

I believe our basic human nature is good. At times our world and our experiences try to hide our true nature from us. Though our innate goodness is never gone, there are times where we need to uncover it. I believe our own personal suffering, life experiences, and grief are our best teachers. They whisper to us what is going on beneath our surfaces, and shows us the way back to ourselves. A life looked at from love, and not fear, is a compassionate and full life - and one that I think everyone can have access to.

I am a Mental Health Counselor licensed by Washington State (Credential Number LH61526393).
